A National level Nanotechnology Innovation Park was Launched in Guangzhou
In early this July, the opening of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Nanotechnology Innovation Park and the launch of the Greater Bay Area Nano Industry Innovation Alliance were held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou.

On April 1, 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Build a Nano-Industry Innovation Highland Construction Plan" to accelerate the construction of a nanotechnology innovation ,application ,demonstration area and a world-class nano industry innovation highland in the Greater Bay Area.
This Nanotech centre has a total construction area of 460,000 square meters, which consists of three functional areas:
- the core area for nanotechnology R&D
- the pilot to scale incubation area
- the supporting living area.

It is the national nanotechnology innovation Park in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will become the headquarter of Guangdong nano technology Institute, which will undertake nanotechnology R&D and incubation program functions.
With the vision of becoming a world-class nano-industry centre, the industry park focuses on the R&D directions of nano-biomedicine, nano-intelligent technology, nano-new materials and nano-new energy, the park gathers talents in the nano-industry, promotes the implementation of global nano-technology innovations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and forms innovative and disruptive technologies.
